Our 100% Grass Fed Beef Rump Steak is on the bottom rung of the ‘steak’ ladder however this beautifully marbled dry aged steak makes up in flavour what it may lack in texture. 100% grass fed beef has been shown to have higher levels of omega 3 which are beneficial to health. Our grass fed beef is dry aged on the bone for up to 28 days for superior flavour, tenderness and ‘freeze-ability’.
The grass fed beef rump steak is ‘Pasture For Life’ ensuring it has ONLY been fed grass and is also ‘finished’ on grass. The ‘pasture for life’ approach is a more sustainable for the environment and offers impressive welfare standards for the animals, the meat is higher in many beneficial nutrients including up to 10 times higher in omega-3 than grain finished animals.
The grass fed beef rump steak will arrive with a traceability code on the packet, this will link to an information page detailing the age, breed, sex of the beef animal, the abattoir that was used for slaughter and a Farm profile including pictures and details of their management practices.
