Osius Grass Fed Beef Bone Broth

This is a very exciting product developed for those of us who may not always have time to keep a pan of broth bubbling on the stove! We have stayed true to the golden principles of producing broth that is primarily for benefiting our health.

*NEWSFLASH!*  Our broth supplier now uses bones that are from 100% grassfed beef but from other suppliers in addition to our own, and cannot promise that they are not finished with grain so…..

As our promise is to be totally transparent in our offerings of products, we have to make you aware of this.  Therefore we have renegotiated with our butcher to ‘take back’ ‘our’ 100% Grass Fed Beef bones, to offer you the chance to make your own beef broth.

We’ve included a very easy-to-follow recipe, which can be adapted to cooker-top-simmering or slow cooker use.  It really is easy!!!

As far as Osius Bone Broth is concerned, the vegetables used are Organic and British.  The bones used in this broth, as we have said, cannot be categorically classed as 100% Grass Fed.

The bones are gently simmered for 24 hours minimum in order to unlock all the nutrients including collagen and gelatine that benefit our health.

There are no additives, preservatives etc – its totally pure.

Beef bones, water, onion, carrot, apple cider vinegar, bay leaf, thyme, parsley, tomatoes, seaweed.

The pots are large enough to take a couple of tablespoons a day as your regular healing top up and will last 5 days in the fridge. These products have been blast frozen for maximum nutrient retention and quality but may defrost during delivery so we recommend not re-freezing unless the product is only slightly thawed in which case they are safe to re-freeze.

Oh and it tastes amazing, really!

It is claimed by many people to be a dense collagen and nutrient packed food which is easy to digest and has many health benefits if a small amount is taken daily – I have found even a spoonfull a day can make a huge difference to my skin and resistance to food intollerances.

If you are using broth to heal leaky gut or manage autoimmune disease we recommend following a protocol like GAPs or AIP Paleo or seeking advice from a functional health professional to help guide you through this process safely.

Below I have outlined some of the benefits of grass fed beef bone broth claimed in papers that I have read.
